Broken pipboy edition stand

Post » Wed Dec 02, 2015 11:44 pm

Ordered the pipboy edition for pc. Got it today and went to put it on the stand only to discover the stand is broken and I can't actually use it to hold the pipboy. Tried to reach out to customer support and sent them an email. All I got back was some generic response not even addressing my issue. All I want is a new stand so I can properly display this thing. Anyone else have this issue? Or does anyone have a better way to reach out to customer service?

I had the same problem with the stand, and also had a button broken on the top of the Pipboy. This is on top of Amazon not delivering it on the right day.

Yes, I had the same issues as well. One of the stand had fallen into the base. You can fix it yourself with a knife, small screwdriver, and some glue. There are 4 tiny screws under the pads on the bottom. Use a knife to gently peel the pads off, take the screws out, then you can glue the stand back in place. Hope this helped!

But is the clear plastic piece supposed to be screwed in or snap in? Looks to me like it should screw in. Anybody know who to contact to have this fixed or replaced?

Same here. Broken clear piece. Looks like it was left to hold the whole weight of the Pip Boy when UPS threw the boxes around, instead of having an extra piece of foam support the Pip Boy itself. The only reason I wanted this was to display it. Wasn't going to wear it at all. Tremendously disappointed. Was considering sawing into the bottom and epoxying the clear part to the inside of the case and hope that it can support the Pip Boy after that. Glad to know there are screws under the pads! Thanks! Still disappointed, but hopefully will fix it.

Oh yeah, broken top button here as well. Didn't know I wasn't supposed to push it.

Amazon here as well. And a day late here as well.
