I have recently discovered problems with Fallouts third DLC, Broken Steel. Here's the skinney- I successfully downloaded it christmas of this year and shortly there-after completed the original Fallout 3 storyline, then decided to expand on it and started the Broken Steel add-on I had recently purchased. Everything was going according to plan, and as I began to arrive and explore the "Adams Air Force Base" area, things began to get a little freaky. Walls disappeared, things were floating and I couldn't begin to figure out where to go b/c of these diffuculties. So, to make a long story short- I decided the best thing to do was to delete the add-on from the xbox 360's memory and re-download it, (keep in mind I decided to delete it recently, not back during christmas) and I haven't been able to fully download it since. I've contacted microsoft xbox support and they ran the gamut of everything they could think of from clearing the xbox 360's cache memory through the on screen menus, re-downloading it multiple times w/o success, waiting, wondering, waiting (that's when I decided you guys should know there's a problem) re-downloading, deleting the add-on, trying again- and ultimately I got nowhere. They were kind, and very understanding about the whole thing, and made a few suggestions like- waiting until internet traffic was low (night-time) to try and re-download it again, (ugh!) They said it might have to do with the xbox 360's self-updating, and the file might have to be removed, the update removed and then re-download the file again, and then re-download the update from microsoft. I dunno, I've never had this kind of problem before with Fallout and , to be honest- I am tootally in love with these games and hate to have even the slightest difficulty, realizing how much time and effort you guys put into such a thing of Gaming beauty. Again, I don't want to sound like a stick in the mud, you guys make great games, but this ONE file has had some trouble- and anything you guys could suggest, (maybe delete the file from the bethesda servers/microsoft servers and up-load a new-er copy?) i couldn't tell ya, I haven't the slightest idea how to fix this, you can probably tell. But anything you could suggest would be an awesome help!! I would love to play this add-on in all of it's radio-active glory!!!! Thank you for listening and taking the time to cosider my problems with this "marketplace" file download problem. Thank you, and I love you guys!!! Oh- and one more thing... can anybody fix my toaster?
