How do I get Broken steel to start?

After ativating the purifior I get the cinematic then all that happens is a view of the cieling. I've tried doing it myself or letting the woman do it. I also tried it with NO mods loaded. I have the 1.7 patch and Steel is loaded.

I can't figure that out either. I just loaded an earlier save.

You got the "Two Weeks Later" slate, right? And then, you wake up staring at a ceiling. And then you hear Elder Lyon's voice. If this doesn't happen, reload. You know BS is loaded, as you received the message that it is two weeks later.

No. I jut get the ending cinematic then nothing. I know Steel iss active because I got the level cap increase.

I got that issue sometimes, that it just would end the game. For me it was a mod issue. http://fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=6240 fixed it. I wasn't even using a custom race.

It's worth a shot, even if it's not working with all mods disabled.

You may have to reload to a save from before entering the purifier room for it to work though.

well oviosly you downloaded it rong cuz all you do is activate the purifior any way you want and it will work its that easy
