Brother Andrew (possible spoilers)

Post » Tue Dec 01, 2015 7:29 am

For the sake of not ruining anything for anyone, I am going to keep this very vague.

Has anyone else encountered this guy and his group? Did they attack you after your conversation with Brother Andrew?

Just wanted to see if I messed this up and missed something.

(Shots fired on missionaries...so yea)

The group that's around the amphitheater. I found them on my way to Diamond City. I don't want to give anything away; I don't know how to use the spoiler button. Brother Andrew is a very...demanding person.

The cult itself seems to parody the church of Scientology through it's achieving levels. I wasn't sure if you ever moved past level 1 if you joined up, so I reloaded to a previous save, threatened him to let me leave and went on my merry way.

Yes, encountered them. They are actually part of another quest having to do with a certain female member to the cult and her family. I did that quest and pretty much blew everyone to hell.

Spoiler
You don't need to save them for the quest though. The NPC related to the quest will still spawn there and act like nothing unusual happened even if all the other members were killed before the quest.
