[?] Brother Juniper's Vivec's Fate and Twin Lamps

Post » Sun May 29, 2011 12:36 am

I was wondering if anyone has any contact with Brother Juniper (the creator of these mods). I've tried humblejuniper@hotmail.com as mentioned in his mods, but the address is no longer in service. Seeing as how he's uncontactable at the moment I was wondering if it would be "unorthodox" to update his mods compatibility for 2011 (from 06), and expand on concepts he mentioned in the descriptions. Or is there currently another "caretaker" of these mods?

I'd love to see his mods updated, especially the Twin Lamps faction (which is just awesome), particularly giving it more options at the end,
Spoiler
where you must talk to Vivec in order to end slavery, which makes you to mandatory do the MQ. I think that it could use some alternative options in order to being able to talk to him, like being a high-rank Temple member, or even knacking off his door and being able to talk to him if your Personality/Speechcraft are high enough (both 95 or so, in order not to be exploited).

Plus, there's a possible bug in the Caldera mines that gives me an error message every time I load a game. I don't have any other mod that modifies neither the mines or any Redoran/Hlaalu questlines, so pretty sure it's Twin Lamps' fault.

If it's something like "tl_mineguard missing in cell" then you need to load "Juniper's Twin Lamps (1.1 Tribunal).esp" after "Guard-Remover.esp" / "NX9Guards_Hlaalu.esp" / "NX9_Guards_Complete.ESP" / .

Yes, something about "TL_mineguard" in script "tl_CalderaUprising", but I don't have any of those mods installed, and Juniper's Twin Lamps is pretty much below the load order (The only mods loading after it are Melian's Teleport Plugin and NoM).

Ah, weird. Basically those guards mods I mentioned remove guards (some kind of pattern matching I guess. Um) and replace them with their own. The Twin Lamps script (glad you remembered it!) then can't find the guard.

But... AFAIK neither Melian's or NoM remove the vanilla guards in the same way. Colour me confused
