My brother just deleted my save

Post » Wed Dec 14, 2011 3:58 pm

My brother and I both play Skyrim on the same Xbox and he likes to clear out the saves so there aren't too many, so I woke up this morning and felt like playing a little Skyrim before school and I see that there are only 8 saves 7 of which are his newly started Nord and 1 that is his lvl 48 Orc. So there you have it, he just deleted my only Skyrim save that I had spent 70 hours on..

I'm guessing there isn't any way to retrieve it

The worst part is that he wont even admit it, he says it's the game that did it..

if you have a new model xbox you can throw your saves on a flash drive to keep them seperate and secure but i dont think there is any way to retreive that lost data that is a shame.

There is no way to retrieve it, but you can delete his save as well.

What would you do to the person who did this too you? In case it happened to you?

Now that's a huge bummer... I would suggest (like I do myself, for safety's sake) saving to a USB key, and don't throw it in the toilet.

Yup I'm pretty devastated, I guess that's what you get for not being careful enough. I'm still wondering how I will get my revenge, for there will be, revenge.

Honestly? Not much, it's my own damn fault for not insisting on him/her using a different profile to play on.

I know, right? But how would you feel after it had occurred? I think you'd want to get revenge, childish or not.

Tie him up and make him watch as you amass massive bounties on his characters, saving afterwards and deleting his previous saves.

Remove his savegame, and ground him from using the Xbox for equal the time it took you to get as far as you did... lol

Delete all the saves and promote a discussion with your brother as to how you can cooperate in the future.

It happens, forgive him like a good brother and move on. It's been awhile since I had a 360 but I think you can create different profiles and prevent that from happening.

I know you definitly can on a computer. Just create different profiles and each profile has its own saved games folder. Works great for my kid and me. Don't have to worry about him messing up my game saves.
