BrotherHood of Steel: My Missions for You!

Post » Tue Feb 09, 2010 2:23 am

I've decided to create missions for BoS players and their characters. Once you finish the in-game BoS quests, you are pretty much done with them. Since this is a roleplaying game, players start making up their own challenges and tasks. Well, i've decided to take it a step further and create the tasks for you on this thread. All you do is read my ideas I post every so often, complete them in-game, and return notifying me you've completed it. When more and more players also have, the next task becomes available. If you have any ideas that you'd like others to check out, p.m. me and i'l post them with your credit. Anyways, stay tuned for a little bit more information.

Thanks for staying tune. Now, next thing to say. I may post things you do not whish to do, which is fine. I ask that you do not ruin it for others who want to. The idea may seem dumb to you, not seem BoS, or impact the game a little too much for you. Don't worry, for I think I can easily make sure you don't feel any of that. Continuing on, I want no arguing on this thread or negative comments. I ask if you do not support/want any part of this, you leave. Otherwise, i'll report you for disrupting the thread. Also, moderators are welcomed to notify me if anything needs to be changed, which right now it doesn't seem. Who knows, if this thread is popular for our BoS fans, I, or others(please don't steal my idea) can create this with other factions. Anyways, please enjoy submitted player-created missions you complete in Fallout:New Vegas. They have been tested by me.

Remember, p.m. it to me, don't post it. But you already did, so its ok. Anyways, the first assignment by Tommy Bozzar has been posted. Basically, infiltrate Vault 34, get down to the armory, have a companion, you'll need 'em. Gather ALL guns in the armory and get the heck outta there. many hate this vault for the radiation, but with BoS armour and helmet, it should not be a big problem.
Return to BoS bunker and either sell the weapons, or keep the good ones for you and store the rest in a safe locker/sell them.

My Assignment. The ending of it is up to YOU, my fav. types of rp.

You must venture out to Old Mormons Fort, where the Followers are camped at. The BoS need medical supplies and scouts have reported their already scarred inventory of meds. The choice is yours. Negotiate a deal with them and sell some items in which you buy their medical supplies, sell unnecessary items and pretend the money you get becomes money for meds, or pretend the Followers have declined the offer, which is IMO more realistic. You can now return to base, or kill the Followers(Be careful to not kill the civilians, or Free side infamy will be gained). Once the followers are killed, loot all of them, sell/do whatever with the loot, and drag each body to any part of the town.

Here was my test on this mission.
I walked in with my T-51 uniform and found the Follower's main leader in the Mormons Fort. After pretending she declined to give up supplies, I used gatlin lazer on all guards and doctors. Once done, I looted them and sold it. P.2>>

P.2

I then gathered the bodies(This sounds brutal lol so don't read if you don't wat to) and put them in a bloody pile*P Any heads left over were placed on the table

Lol it was brutal, but thats how I decided to complete this mission. Go ahead and post your mission stories in this thread.!.!

Gizmo87 has created a pretty neat BoS mission:

Basically you have to destroy the Ranger Station with weapons that the Super Mutants would use like nail boards and hunting rifles. The goal is to be stealthy and make the bodies as ravaged as possible to further hint at a Mutant raid.
This is his exact post^^^^ Here is my version....
The Ranger station near vault 22 must be destroyed and super Mutants must be blaimed(BoS don't like them). I suggest you just walk in there with minigun or non-energy weapon and light em up. Melee(Like the mentioned nail-board0 can be used to kill and chop the bodies up. Once thats complete. I suggest you go to Jacobstown and either eliminate the town or allow Ncr to do so.(be sure to get Lily as companion and send her to Lucky 38 before you kill the town). Once done, return to base. Your reward is savaged Ncr uniforms and equipment you sell/or keep for disguise and so. Nice Mission Gizmo87!

I have a big battle Mission that will be turned into an NCR vs. BoS campaigne in which you basically destroy the NCR bases. I will think of the mission tonight and post later tonight or tomorrow. Nice Missions so far. Oh and btw, although it seems that only certain people are commenting tthis thread, be aware of guests who can come here for some ideas too!

For the Ranger one (trying to do it before completing "Return to Sender" may be good), try killing them in a way that would make the false intelligence reports real. For example, kill everybody in Foxtrot with a bladed gauntlet (use a stealth boy if you wish) to make it look like Deathclaws attacked and kill everybody at Delta using Super Mutant weapons.

Great idea. although stealth boy would be a waste. A legion costume would work maybe?

I guess, but once you get the Legion Safehouse/Caesar's Favor quest, you can practically get infinite stealthboys. But yeah, a Legion Outfit would work pretty well.

Sorry for double post, but wanted to post a good idea before leaving. Do "For Auld Lang Syne," until you get access to the Bunker, then kill all of the Remnants, as well as Arcade. I'm sure PC users can get creative and spawn some BoS soldiers in the Bunker, almost as if they have taken over. Give them the Remnants set to wear, too with Plasma Casters, Gatling Lasers, and Gauss Rifles. For the final battle, you might also want to spawn some BoS to help you.

I have just recieved disturbing news from Senior Knight Lorenzo. The water pipes which supplies the Brotherhood with pure drinkable water have cracked and even caused the water to irradiate in several areas. The Brotherhood need you to locate new piping to be used. Our scouts have reported that a piece of piping has been sought after by prospectors to be used as a weapon. It is known by prospectors as The Humble Cudgel it should be a suitable replacement There should be a corpse in the East Central Sewers with a key on which leads to the Sealed Sewers, the location of 'The Humble Cudgel'. We need you to find this 'Humble Cudgel' and bring it to Senior Knight Lorenzo so he and his team can get to work on fixing the pipes.
