Brotherhood of Steel safehouse

I just got the Brotherhood of Steel safe house and I really like the setup. It has everything I need and want. But there's a problem. I like to place all of my items on the shelves and organize my guns and ammo. However, sometimes when I drop something in order to move it on a shelf, it falls through the floor. It seems very inconsistent and usually happens to smaller items although I have had large guns fall through too. I play on a 360 so I don't know if there's anything that can help this.

Are there any tricks to stopping this? I always save my game before I drop something. I've tried standing everywhere. On the bed, at the entrance, with my back against the wall, facing the wall, looking up, you name it. It seems to be very inconsistent.

Unfortunatly no.
The only way I,ve stopped it is with mods.
The only thing I can suggest is try finding a sweet spot but other than that I'm afraid I can be no help. :sadvaultboy:
Sorry!
