I can't figure out how to get the BoS to ally with me. I ended up killing House and keeping the chip for myself, so far I have the boomers as allys but I really wanted the BoS too. I made Hadin the elder if that has anything to do with this.

I'm not sure on this either. I didn't make Hadin the elder, so that isn't it either. It could be bugged, or maybe there's another group of BoS you need to help somewhere. The only other thing I can think of is doing the Veronica companion quest.

I haven't done the quest where you find parts to repair the vault, so I'm thinking that's it. But I can't find the parts for [censored], I've been through vault 11 and 32 yet I've only found one piece. Pretty frustrating since it took forever and I hate killing ferals.

BUMP Can anyone help me with repairing the BoS vault? I have the Differential Pressure Controller and the H.E.P.A. cartridges where can I get the third thing?

I don't think the quest has a name...theres nothing for it underneath my log but I got the dialog for it still. I've been in 11,34, and 22. I'm missing the last thing but it should have been in one of those.

Each vault contains the items. Which vault did you leave without the item?

34 I think or whichever one is guarded by ghouls. I searched through the entire thing for like an hour without any luck.

Your supposed to go to Vault 3 which is in the South Vegas ruins (southwest of vegas/el rey motel.)

You can make people allies? I thought it just involved telling him to ignore them or not? Damn, if I missed the chance to make the BoS allies...

Once you make Hadin the leader, wait a few days and head back to the hidden vault... a scout should run up to you and say something about changes and blahblahblah, then you talk to the (former) elder and he'll allow you to become a BoS paladin if you do a quest for him. Don't wanna ruin the quest but thats how you ally with the BoS. It doesnt mess with NCR rep or anything either, I'm still good with everyone after allying with BoS.

Um, do you literally mean ally (as in you it is an option on Yes Man), or do you just mean that you are allowed to join the BoS

Because first I put Hadin into power, did the Van Graff quests, joined the BoS and still didn't have the option to have them join me

Then, I reloaded a save and did the long, annoying quest for the Elder and joined the BoS and it STILL did not give me the option to join them

Really frustrating! It feels like as if I missed a big part of the game

What I want to know is how you can convince House to let them live. I figured that installing Hardin as the elder would mean that the BoS would also help with the final mission, similar to what you had to do to recruit the Boomers. Am I missing something, or do I have to go on a murder spree? I'd rather they live, seeing as they're the only source of Gauss Rifles in the game.

I left Mac in charge and after doing all missions for him and veronica's personal mission, I asked to join up and they let me after doing a final mission for them. Problem is if you plan on siding with the NCR they are going to ask you to wipe out the brotherhood towards the end (I just couldn't bring myself to do that).

To hell with the NCR, I'm going Lord and Master of Vegas since that seems the best way to preserve the Brotherhood.

I feel bad for the individual NCR troopers, and will try to avoid killing them, but I have no mercy for the higher-ups.
