Brotherhood of the Axe

You're probably already aware of the site, but if not, http://www.valyriansteel.com/shop/swords/ice-sword-of-eddard-stark/prod_9.html.

More on topic: How could I forget, the perfect axe-wielding character concept - http://frankfrazetta.org/viewimage.php?loc=frank_frazetta_deathdealerIII.jpg.

I've seen Valyrian Steel before! I love their take on, Longclaw, as well as, Ice. But I really prefer the HBO version of the weapons overall. Doesn't mean I wouldn't mind that take on the weapons as well, I just envisioned them differently when I was reading the book. HBO was more on spot with what I had thought the weapons would look like. (The sword from VS looks far to flashy for Ned, he's a reserved man, humble at the most. He would never carry a blade plated in gold and silver.) :tops:

Can I be in the Brotherhood of The Axe with my Dual Axe wielding Nord based on Beowulf, or is it strictly for 2 handers?

All axemen are welcome. Especially Nords based on Beowulf.

ROFL! Simply having warrior rings (rings made from your enemy's weapons) in the game would be awesome!

If you don't need two hands to swing your weapon, you ain't doing it right.

I plan on going two-handed everything, that goes for spells too!

And Orcs ftw!

Why, I'm glad you like it.

More on topic: With the new mechanics regarding the different weapon-types they all seem more unige and rewarding than before so I might make an axe wielding warrior later on, after I'm done with my Nordic Crusader Hrol.

So does Nordic Crusader use restoration and heavy armor?

Possibly... a backup axe?

Heavy armor, 2-handed hammers, restoration are the main focus for my Crusader. I'm afraid a backup axe would be to heavy since I'm gonna use 2-handed weapons.

I am currently planning an Orc Warrior after I have played my Nordic Crusader and I think axes will be my main weapon since I like that combination :D

Yeah, Crusaders and Paladins are definitely wack (in a good way ;)). I love the knight + restoration combination (basically a paladin). It's a shame there isn't mounted combat tho...

Hey, my planned character matches this pretty well, lol. Planning on doing an imperial warrior priest, with two handed hammer of course.

In Ob I love all the 2-handed weapons and my three fav are(custom of course, and all are ebony): My hammer Guardians Might(fire damage), my axe Stormegde(shock damage) and my blade Winters Fury(frost damage). I probably go with the same names.
Fyrdbane sounds almost norwegian as bane means the same thing(more or less) in both languages, and Fyrd is similar to the names of two of the Gods in the old norse pantheon: Freyja and Freyr(Fr?ja and Fr?y in norwegian)

And DoomKnight: Then, as the Grandmanster of the Order of the Guardian, I hereby formally invite you to join our order.
