BSOD Cause?

Hi I finally started playing Skyrim again after buying all the DLCs. I started a clean save with the following mods using NMM:

Spoiler
Skyrim.esm
Update.esm
Dawnguard.esm
Dragonborn.esm
HearthFires.esm
ClimatesOfTamriel.esm
JSwords.esm
SPIKE.esm
HighResTexturePack01.esp
HighResTexturePack02.esp
HighResTexturePack03.esp
Unofficial Skyrim Patch.esp
Unofficial Dawnguard Patch.esp
Unofficial Hearthfire Patch.esp
Unofficial Dragonborn Patch.esp
Unofficial High Resolution Patch.esp
SkyUI.esp
DeadlyDragons.esp
JSwordsDistributionBalancePlugin.esp
dD - Realistic Ragdoll Force - Realistic.esp
Cloaks.esp
hothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.esp
Immersive Weapons.esp
ClimatesOfTamriel.esm

Computer info:
Windows 7 64-bit
Intel Core i7 CPU 970 @ 3.20GHz
12GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480 SLI
Driver Version: 306.97

Now to my problem. After about 20 hours of playtime I couldn't take the dark nights from Climates of Tamriel anymore (complete Blackness, couldn't see anything at night) so I disabled it. That's when the BSODs started happening. At least I think it's a BSOD...monitor turns off and shorty after the PC restarts.

I already tried re-installing the Mod and enabling it again but I also got a BSOD. Iv'e had 3 of them within ~1 hour of playtime since the first time I turned the Mod off (not a single problem before).

So can a broken save (from a disabled mod) be the cause of these BSODs?

Also in case I have to start a new save, I have a few questions concerning mods.
Can my save file corrupt from:
Updating Skyrim?
Updating the unofficial mod patches?
Updating a mod? and if it dosn't, do I just delete the old version and install the new with NMM?

It's very doubtful that a corrupted save could be causing BSODs - these are usually associated with hardware or driver problems. Application faults generally cause freezes or CTDs.

What are your CPU/GPU temperatures? I'd look at those first and see if your machine is overheating, and if it is, fix that problem. Next step would be to try reinstalling your video card drivers in case your current install has somehow gotten corrupted.

Beyond that, you may have to troubleshoot for hardware problems. Look at the Windows Event logs for clues that could help you out with that.
