(bug) Chicken Egg Nests don't respawn

Post » Mon Jun 11, 2012 11:33 pm

I saw a mod about this today, and I was pretty surprised. I went into the Creation Kit, and sure enough, once you harvest a chicken egg from a nest, it never respawns. The reset timer for every season is set to 0.

I guess the chickens decide to go on strike, since they see you take their egg.

No wonder theres no scrambled eggs in Skyrim.
I've been looking for a better breakfast than sweetrolls,I guess it will have to be apples.

This isn't a bug. The gestation period of a chicken in four to five million years, while minerals such as iron form within months.

Geez, what do kids even learn in schools these days?

I am having a bug where my ingredients do not respawn and it effects all plants and nest and the like, there are some plants that do not regrow and there are clusters of plants that do not regrow, I sent ky wave files to Gstaff wo Bethesda could hopefully address this problem.

You don't need a Rooster for a Hen to lay an egg :)

Ummm, it's not a bug if it's been set not to respawn. Geez, not everything is a bug.

Every single other ingredient in the game respawns, so I'd think chicken eggs would too.

They did for a while, but then they stopped. I don't know if it was a patch that triggered it, or some in-game effect.

No you need a rooster to fertalize the egg,the hen will still lay an egg without a rooster.
