Has anyone else noticed that the TV's no longer need a power source since the title update?

I like to switch the power off in my home plate whenever I leave for role playing purposes.Everything switches off apart from the TV's

EDIT: Bug only seems to effect the home plate. ceiling fan is also effected. Light goes out but fan keeps spinning. Tried in the castle and tvs work normally.
