Okay, I could not figure out how to get a screenshot that I could post on here, so I wrote down the error message I keep getting sporadically when trying to post on the fanfic forum:
Error # 20310 - Your secure key, used to verify you are posting the topic, did not match the one submitted. Please go back, reload the form, and try again.
On a seperate note but the same subject:
** I get booted off BGSF all day long and have to sign back in whenever I try to perform any functions, it just happened to me editing this post, and happens frequently in the Fanfic forums.
** If you edit your Fanfic twice, it turns the whole thing into HTML code and jams it together. Fanfics have to be edited all the time, and this does not happen when editing comments on other parts of the forum, just the fanfic section.
** I keep getting # Error 500 server errors as well, and am unable to access the forum at all when these occur.
** The table size remains an issue on the fanfic forum because of the size of the posts over there. I post @ 2000 words per post, and it looks like an obnoxious long tube of words. That is hard to get people to read, so think about people like Helena who post 5000 words per chapter - We are losing readers and commenters from these issues.
** The dark on background for the fanfic list makes it hard to read the threads and causes eye strain. At the top of the page is a soothing gray background for the pinned threads - can't they switch these two out?
** The profile page and comment boxes being dark to glossy black with white print causes severe eye strain. Can they not tone down the color some to a more neutral shade? Like a medium to dark gray?
** Unbelievably slow load time between pages, unstable scrolling on pages
All these things are still issues, and IP is not addressing them. If these issues are fixed, I am sure some of the members will return, but there is no reason to post your stories on a forum that everyone has stopped reading or commenting because it has become a chore.
