Fallout New Vegas is one of my favorite games yet it has quite a few bugs as many people have noticed. I don't mind small glitches but there is more than just a few small bugs in Fallout New Vegas. Like my companions might get stuck in between rocks or just stand around during combat. I also find enemy's doing the same thing. But one of the most annoying things is the game sometimes freezes and the only way to fix it is to restart my Xbox. I also hope someone will give people the ability to go back and explore the wasteland and do side quests after finishing the main story. I don't know if this can be fixed by just a patch but the loading times in the game can be very long to.

While I can't argue with you other points because well they need fixing.

However main quest finishing and ending the game is neither a bug nor a glitch. It's a feature.

You need to either save before the final quest (like the pop-up says) or start a new character and play it completely differently than the first time.
