I now when I am close to the building site because the lag is ridicules..MATRIX!
It hasn't happened yet. I just have huge piles of junk and a dream. I had a basket house with a shield roof but a fox knocked it over. Now I need heavier stuff...
The Fox story:
I was alone in the wilderness, I picked up another ebony shield and prepared its placement (about 5 feet away). I heard what I thought was a cry to my left, as I turned I was greeted with a curious fox. He just stood there for a moment as if he was admiring my creation. Usually such creatures would feel the cold end of my blade but I thought to my self, hey he is just a little baby fox, what could he possibly do, I am sure he will go about his merry way. I drop my shield so I could be weapon ready just in case....no sooner, the bastard darted at speeds that only bullets could match!!!! He didn't even pay attention that there was a door, he went though one wall and out the other wall....the house blasted apart as if a billiard game had just started.
The odd thing is I don't know what happened to the Fox. I am not sure if the contact plus all the action deloaded him or what....I couldn't find him. I tell you this, Every Fox I come across, no matter what, will be slayed!
Update: 12/10/11
I was trying to earn more cash for ingot and while heading back with my mules I accidently removed my Custom marker. I had constructed 2 walls about 4 feet high with minor lag, Silver base Gold walls...The whole process was very tidies. I lost the location.
I have decided that I am going to build a short wall that blocks a major road way and become a toll bandit.
Update:12/11/11
Used that dragon sprint shout on the wall because I was bored. LOL's were had. Spent 30mins trying to get a basket on my own head and gave up.
Bricked a few door in Rivewood. When I say bricked I mean I stacked ingot in front of doors while people were out of there homes. It was not a funny as I had hoped for, people just could go home.
All right guys This isn't a very good picture but hey its a picture.

Description:
I found a nice flat area with a view and have started construction of the first wall (with no support). The picture was taken off my tv with a phone and sent by email (in case you wanted to know.
Something like this WILL take about 3 hours to do. Why? you ask, because you can't control the direction of the piece when you drop it, lets say you drop 100 ingot, this will drop all around you and when you pick them up the direction they were in when dropped is the direction they stay in. What I do is grab 1 piece and push other pieces straight, this makes it a ton easier but actually placing them is even more time consuming.
Ingot would be awesome to use but I don't have this kinda time everyday....I need to find bigger items.
Update: 12-13
Fast travel prison was a semi - success. kettle walls on one side basket walls on the other, back and front were built with iron ingot and iron shield roof. I did not take into account how tall I was on horse back..As soon as I fast traveled we busted the house down like Mr. Kool-Aid OOHH YEAA! I would say a good 40% of the item flew off into the sky. The rest of it landed scattered about covering a decent distance. One of the shields actually got stuck on the horses neck, almost looked like those cones you put on dogs. It did eventually disappear.
Update: 12-14/ 12-15
I see these two wheeled carriages all around Skyrim, I know I can push them...I wonder If I can fill them up and use them to transport more items? LOL, I can! I have the wagon filled with shields, ingot and a few random items. My companion and I are packed to the brim with building materials Although it isn't the correct way to use this cart I am pushing it with my horse (instead of pulling it for obvious reasons).
I am moving very slowly as to not flip the cart over....This is turning into a long trek. Unfortunately I am at the opposite end of the map from where I need to be.
......(sigh) I should have known better, the cart has terrible direction, making turn is incredibly difficult and all of a sudden everyone and their mother wants to fight me.....
Almost half way to my destination and a new problem has arrived....inclines! as luck would have it I have reach the top of the hill with little trouble but as I do my cart fly's down the opposite side, rolling flipping and throwing all my stuff all over the place. To make matters worse I am over encumbered (That's why I am riding the horse) ....it just keeps getting better and better. The cart headed down to the near by stream before spilling the remain content..No worries it seem a group of passing by Imperials what to assist me with recovering my goods, oh wait no they don't, they are here to arrest me..(previous basket/ kettle stealing spree)...For some reason when I tried to persuade them I was sent to a town hours away...my spoils of er..uh..war were take...making me about 200 pounds lighter...damn.
First off, who the hell cares if I steal baskets and Kettles?? Really!?...FML,
If you are attempting this, here are a couple of tips.
1. Don't try and be perfect. It is very frustrating when you prepare to place a piece and knock down 30mins of work.
2. Find a flat area. These items WILL roll away despite being flat.
3. Don't use cheese or any other snack food.
4. Don't build on mountains..Just take my word on it.
5. Don't have a companion with you. They will knock all your crap over and NOT apologize!
6. Mule Companions and kill them once on your work site.
7. Have an idea of what you are building before you get started.
8. Fox's will go out of there way to destroy anything you build. kill them
