BuildingsStructures you want to see in the next Fallout game

Post » Fri May 04, 2012 7:14 am

i say that the maybe new fallout game should be all city and buildings should be like one Vernon Sqaure in Fallout 3

I don't think all city would be the best idea. I would rather prefer a wasteland similar to Fallout 3's. More buildings and bases in the outskirts though.

yes! Fo3 wastland was probably the most beleivable. People keep saying oh its 200 years after the war but its also been a couple of years since the vaults were opened so it makes sense not to have higherarchy but anarchy.

There were hundreds of Vaults. And a bunch of big cities in FO1 and FO2, even a city of Ghouls. Things progress, FO3 looked like maybe 50 years after the war not 200. Go check this out if you want to know more about the canon of Fallout http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout_Bible

Vaults in FO3 have nothing to do with this. At the beginning of FO3 only 2 vault dwellers have been in the wasteland(LW and his father) The people in the CW have been there for some time so it is not believable that there is no rebuilding happening. Not to mention the majority of the buildings being intact and the radiation everywhere.

I want to see much more trees and greenery. I want to see more of nature reclaiming the world with building with trees growing up through them. That and new settlements and villages appearing of huts made from mud & sticks or tree houses etc.
Adding to Fallout a stone age type of society as well as the metal and debris made settlements. That & a combination of the two.
The "Return of the Jedi" Ewok village style settlement in little lamplight (Fallout 3) was cool.

Gives the game more variety and scope for future evolution. Otherwise the game could become boring having the same old dust bowel style landscapes.

Also animals to ride would be cool. I personally don't want to see mechanical vehicles to start appearing as it is supposed to be a world with little means of fuel or power to run such things. The traders already have them. I'm sure people would breed them as means of growing transport needs.

It does, it's the most ridiculous and un-believable wasteland. Todd Howard even said that it was done soley because exploration a ruined city - ala Fallout 1 - wasn't fun; because exploration is what Bethesda does, not any of the other myriad ways to make a ruin interesting.

I would agree. Eventually secondary succession would take place and vegetation would begin to grow again.

also correct me if i'm wrong but the old lady in megaton said that she had been in megaton since the start and she has to be like what 50 -60 or maybe 70 years old also it says some were in the game ( i think it was in the game ) that rivet city has only been around for like i think 20 some thing years or some thing like that so so the CW looking like its only been 50 or 60 years after the bombs droped does kinda make since ( excluding the radiation every were in larg amounts ) in a rebuilding kinda way

I want a more distinct list; the chrysler factory, the alamo( which could have
Alotnof dead people layin around almost like a second battle), and maybe even the pentagon but like all destroyed and due to copyright they'de have to thing of something catchy like the "hexigon" for the Pentagon.
The citadel in F3 is the pentagon
