builds for the next run

I started to mention this in another thread, but it warrants its own topic.

After I finish my one-pistol cowboy run, I want to take another run through using some kind of build I've never done before. I've done a lot of snipers, and a lot of cowboys. I've done an unarmed/melee build once, too. Here are the stipulations I'm using for the run:

1) Using JSawyer's mod on hardcoe.
2) No companions, except for quests.
3) Completionist. Go for every achievement, except the cannibal ones because they're weird.
4) No using storage/housing. Can only keep what I can carry.
5) No looting for resale. If I take something, it's because I can use it directly, or it's a craft ingredient.
6) I can only sell what I craft myself.
I had a few basic ideas and I'm wondering what everyone else has tried, how they built the character, and what was the most fun:
1) Energy Weapons. I'd go towards a fully modded Laser Rifle. I've read you can do the entire game pretty solidly with just that weapon.
2) Shotguns. I'd go towards the Dinner Bell or modded Hunting Shotgun. I know the Riot Shotgun is better, but I don't like the look of it.
3) Grunt. JSawyer removes the All-American and Marksman Carbine from the Grunt List, but adds Automatic Rifle, Battle Rifle, Bozar, and This Machine. I'm not sure what I'd go for end game there. But, I would try to use -only- Grunt weapons for the game (DM might have to be an exception).
4) Something else. Suggest something. :smile:
