1. DESCRIPTION
===============

First and foremost, this is a modder's resource. While there is an esp included, it is only an empty shell to test the shelves. You can use the esp to merge the meshes into your own mod, but I would recommend removing the test cell.

This is a set of bookcases/shelves built into the walls of the common tileset. The shelves use the vanilla textures, so they'll change to match whatever texture replacer you may have.

2. Requirements
===============

N/A

========================
3. INSTALLING THE PLUGIN
========================

The meshes can be moved to the meshes directory or any sub directory as needed. They all use vanilla textures so you won't need to change the nifs.

For the included esp to work the meshes need to be in the Meshes\kb\ subdirectory.

=====================
4. PLAYING THE PLUGIN
=====================

Should you wish to look at the bookcases in-game...

From the Morrowind Launcher, select Data Files and check the box next to the Bookcase test cell.esp

You'll find a new door on the back side of Arrile's Tradhouse in Seyda Neen. It's empty, but it uses almost all of the new pieces.

5. SAVE GAMES
===============

6. CONFLICTS / KNOWN ERRORS
============================

There shouldn't be any conflicts. If you modify these, please re-name them to avoid conflicts with other mods that use this version.

================================

Brilliant! In a library or lab, you can really lose a lot of floorspace due to bookcases. Great idea and nice implementation!

I completely agree... I did the repetitive work on this that many people find annoying (as in pasting and positioning the same thing in a bunch of different meshes a bunch of times) and was asked to post the threads but the person that did the real heavy lifting was Kiteflyer61. He made the bookshelf mesh and got it set up so that what i did was quite easy. It's kinda how it whould have been in MW in the first place.

Version 1.1 is now available.

It adds a freestanding, double sided bookcase for the center of rooms. :D

Wonderful idea! I'm going to have to update a few house mods now.

Thanks for all the work put into this!
