At 2560 x 1440 the cloaked enemies have more definition and are easier to see. And 3D is not good for your health. It is scientifically proven it releases large quantities of radiation @ you.

Umm ..yeah looks like a nice monitor you have there too, i'm waiting for my 25" asus 1080 to arrive, the 23" 3D i got is just a little too small for me(i'm about 1 metre away from monitor).
But yeah, very nice!

The CPU is extremely fast and only at the fraction of the price of the previous top specification Sandy Bridge. I.e The Intel Core i7 990X @ 3.47GHz. Also it runs very cool too. Never reaching above 58 C @ max load.
I guess as technology evolves all chips would be faster, cheaper and more economic.

As for 3D technology I was never a fan of it, in fact I am sick of it. Take note especially the moment your 3D screen switches on, that is when the max load of radiation emits. Make sure you are not facing your 3D screen when it switches on.

Right on, screw 3D feature whether it's for movies or gaming, people don't want that.
With that much money, you should've went with a 240GB SSD instead.

Creative X-Fi with Realtek driver does the on-board sound.

With that much money, you should've went with a 240GB SSD instead.

240GB is a lot more expensive than 120GB. And I did not need that much.

I needed the good CPU & SSD for my field of work. I only game when all that is done. And two liquid cooled GTX 580's cost more and installing them in this motherboard is very tricky.

When @ 2560 x 1440 the definition is so fine I can make out the cloaked enemies very easily. I also use Visor Enhance for better feedback when ADS or scoping.

Lol man. then youd better buy Z68 motherboard, and core i5-2500k and overclock it to 4.5-4.9ghz with gtx590, since you have only one card - you won't need s2011/s1366.

I didn't want to OC too much risk the life span of my system. Also my colleague bought the Intel i7-3930K for me at a very good price from California.
The most expensive part was the GTX 590.

A fellow Crysis 2 gamer asked me about the clarity of cloaked enemies when in different resolutions.
In my case when I set the resolution to 2560 x 1440 with the Ultra graphic settings the definition of cloaked enemies become clearer. Plus for the far away cloaked enemies I use Visor Enhance for my Stealth Modules for highlighting capability of enemies when the user Aims Down Sights or through the scopes. (Visor enhance only works when you ADS or Scope.)

hmm i wonder if its the "Ultra" setting or the high resolution, maybe you can take screenshot of cloaked enemies at different res and details if you have time.

cos i've actually heard opposite from another person, he apparently runs DX9, low res, custom low details(lower than "High") and he seem to spot people very easily.

So it would be better for you to know whether you meet the minimum requirements of the game.

My feelings towards my old pc are opposite to that of yours.
No matter how sh1t or slow it was, fate brought the two of us together and it accompanied me through the tough times and it did what it could to complete most tasks I needed it to complete.
