Well, the only reason to kill him is for his armor and pistol. You get nothing else for doing it (no dialog options, no satisfaction with Caesar, no nothing) and since you get his pistol and armor at the end of the DLC, it's really not worth killing him.

Of course, if you're going to do it for your own satisfaction, then by all means go for it. (But it won't really be worth it)

No, there is no purpose of doing so. At all. Not to mention he killed me in 23 DT armor with two shots from his pistol.

you would have to define "worth".... I I was best buddies with Caesar, yes. If I was NCR, probably know. If I was a 14 year old gamer who kills everything, then maybe yes.

frankly, from a mercenary perspective, it is not worth killing him money/benefits wise

It depends, if you want story progression then stay your weapons. If story is a small matter then see what happens when you kill. I'm kind of curious what happens if you try to kill him before the end of the dlc. Has anyone tried?

You get a quest called "Chaos in Zion" and you have to go to the sorrows camp where you can kill Daniel if you want, since he's hostile to you. All Dead Horses and Sorrows also go hostile. At the sorrows camp is a map back to the mojave you have to get out of a container. From there you can go back to the mojave and then your done.

You can effectively complete the DLC in 10 minutes this way if you want, though there isn't any incentive to do so.

That does not sound nearly as fun as just following the story, but at least the choice is yours, and it seems you have human enemies with a continuing presense on your return to Zion. Thanks for the info :icecream: .

Hey, it's great if you're RP'ing a kill everything character, just go in, kill everything, and get out, but I would advise that you play it "normally" the first time. you get a much better experience.

It sounds like you get his equipment at the end of the DLC so unless you badly need it I'd wait until you beat HH.

I should have asked this question after I completed the add on cause I then relized I got all there gear anyways lol, I was just gonna beat it then go back and kill him loll
