The new burrowing mole rats attacked my shelter and one of the mole rats froze in the same position but kept on killing anyone who went in the room. I closed the game to see if this would solve the problem but then there were loads more in other rooms killing everyone. I now have no money to revive everyone and very little weapons for anyone else in the game to even try and kill the mole rats.

Not trying to be harsh, but no one can really help you, and it sounds like you're screwed. Honestly, I've heard nothing but bad things about the mole rats. As a heads up for next time, upgrading rooms makes enemy attackers much stronger, and therefore harder to kill/easier to die from. It's suggested that you don't upgrade rooms, but rather merge rooms until your dwellers are decent levels and you're well stocked for weapons.

This is the thing though my dwellers are high levels but the fact that you could kill all the mole rats except one. It's like it wasn't getting hurt. The heavy combat shot guns were doing nothing to them!

That definitely sounds glitchy, but unfortunately there's nothing that can be done about it until the devs improve the game.
