But why is the rum gone?!

In this game I would love to see the ability to get drunk. Id love there to be Inns or Taverns and stuff where people are having a party, playing music which blocks out the sound of the snow storm outside. Id love the screen to go all blurry and your character to walk funny (GT4 guys ;) ). If you drink too much, you fall on the floor and you are forced to wait 12 hours (like when you wait in Oblivion/Fallout) and you wake up (obviously all the NPCs would have gone elsewhere from the party or some of them sleeping like you in the pub.

Another thing, it would be just a fun thing to have a fist fight with someone (after you drink a certain ammount) and it would be so amusing watching your opponent missing and stumbling around drunk whilst your character is doing the same

Its just an idea of mine - I would really love this to be in the game because it will give more depth to the game and the community of NPCs if you know what I mean. If anyone doesnt want this kind of thing to be in game then you are sad and boring lol.

It got old real fast in GTA IV. Novelty wears off too quickly.

Yes. And inebriation effects from skooma.

@Dragonborn1 it gets old because there's only one effect and not much to do while drunk in gta4. It was pretty much just go on a man date with Roman, enter bar, immediately exit bar without seeing your character drink, and drunk drive your man date home. If there were more drugs with more effects, and if you can actually see your character get drunk, it would be a lot better.

This is one of those things that if it were implemented well could be really immersive and cool, but in all previous examples n gaming history it has not been implemented well.

You mentioned GTA in the OP. It got old in that game and the same will happen in Skyrim.

Agreed.

That's not to say that they shouldn't add it to Skyrim... I just don't think it's anything to get excited over.

Yet but i was referring to GTA4 because it was an example of how this could be put in Skyrim, with stumbling and fuzzy screen.

Well, in my particular case (and I play my games for the lulz), often.
