Butterfly Catching?

Post » Sun Sep 25, 2011 2:53 pm

I read somewhere on the boards that you can catch butterflies in Skyrim? So aside from embedding your axe into the top of a dragon's skull what does Dovahkiin do in his spare time? Catch butterflies! Of course, Dovahkiin could always be a "She" but that is besides my point and I don't think gender necessarily has to come into play since regardless of gender you are pretty much a wuss for doing it. My point is, what is the point? Do you think alchemy? Do you think collecting? Are there going to be some prissy butterfly collectors that you can "Sell your catch to"? Oh, and this is not a complaint. This is me finding humor in the idea while trying to anolyze and think of practicality. I hope it does have a darn good practical use though since we gave up Hand to Hand perks for butterflies. ;)

No idea, but many species of butterfly (most in fact) are toxic, often very toxic. Thus the bright colors.

LOL I never thought about the point in it. Just so Todd can say "Hey if you want you can be a butterfly-catching [censored]tard"

Probably something to do when your bored too.

Very different that's for sure. But hey, if I can use it for alchemy then why not? :)

You are just gonna have to find a character in Skyrim that looks like me and defend their honor. :P

And then I would give him a jar of butterflies. Free of charge. :foodndrink:
