Buy shares in Interplay

Post » Sun Jul 12, 2009 4:29 pm

hello I am interested in buying shares in gamesas, can one of you good gamesas people talk to me about this, i have a little money and would like to put it to good use, even long term investment, esp with your fallout online in devel and low share price fluctuating 0.055 - 0.07 cents a share.

Question can I buy troday at 0.55 and tomorow sell and take the gains. and again buy next week at 0.55?? I have 18000 USD , so I would like to start to buying 500,000 shares plus of IPLY trading until i have 1,000 ,000 shares, if thats possible,

I have 18,000 USD now
so my game plan would be
IPLY drops to 0.055 , I buy 654545 shares IPLY, using 36,000 USD
then IPLY jumps to 0.075 I sell and get back 49,090 USD,
IPLY drops to 0.0.06 , I buy 818000 shares IPLY, using 49,090 USD,
then IPLY jumps to 0.07 I sell and get back 57,260 USD,
IPLY drops to 0.05 , I buy 1145200 shares IPLY, using 57,260 USD.
then IPLY jumps to 0.08 I sell and get back 91616 USD,
OK you get the idea
is this doable?
Will IPLY allow me to buy and sell like this daily? or am I stuck with the shares for a min 6 month period ??
I want to build up to owning 1 million shares and then sit on it for 12 months or so and wait for a major hike in share price after , Fallout Online comes out,

wht

That's really beyond what we can discuss on the forums here.

You might try this page:

http://www.gamesas.com/investors/

There is an Investor Relations contact link there you can try.

Leavy,

gamesas is a very lightly traded stock. You'd be lucky to be able to pick up more than 10,000 shares at a time and even then, you'll likely have to overpay for them. then, when you sell, unless you are selling in tiny little bits, the stock will drop big time, since it is owned by just a few of us and very few are buying/selling now. seems like everyone is waiting for the results of Fallout online lawsuit.

my advice to you, would be to start picking up shares, in increments of 10,000 or so and then hold until the lawsuits results or the stock really sky rockets for some other reason and starts to get traded heavily and speculatively again.

best of luck to ya. several of us have invested a lot in gamesas over the years and are hoping for a big pay out with Fallout online. We chat on ragingbull.com about gamesas. you could read the past posts to get a flavor for the stock action on this guy.

gamesas has no control over what you buy and sell.
All you need is a broker and some cash.

Cheers Austin, i tried my broker but he said the ask value for this stock is zero, meaning no one is Selling, so its hard to buy a large amount like I am trying to for long term investment.

Maybe Dotcorp will release some stock later on that i could pick up??

Anyway I still have my cash waiting , if any one is interested in parting with 500,000 shares, I am ready and waiting. I really believe in what gamesas is trying to do with Project V13 , and I am confident it will do well.

Dotcorp is likely in it for the long run just given the announcement and how much investment they put into the company.

Elven 6, I expect Dotcorp is in for the long term as well, but circumstances change and they may need to liquidate some stock at short notice. I will be ready if this happens or if they contact me. I am sure some of their investor staff are logged into these blogs.

Or maybe gamesas will agree to me buying up shares on a special case basis later on, , who knows. These days every company needs investment, as staying afloat gets tighter and tighter.

500,000 shares at .065 would only be 32,500 which is small potatoes compared to the 1,000,000 dotcorp dropped. Your best bet would be to buy on the open market a little bit at a time and build up a nice position.

Austin i was trying to put together 60,000 USd over 6 months for 1 million shares, @ 0.06 per share, but when my Broker stared looking for IPLY he said it had zero liquidity, no ask price. So how to buy the stock? I am just stuck on this, until some one approaches me, offering to sell 1 million shares.

If i try buying piecemeal as you said, it will cost much more per share. But please keeping sharing ideas with me, to solve this.

your broker is most likely just being cautious and trying to steer you clear of a penny stock.
he gets the same commission if he puts your in a penny stock or he puts you in walmart.
its a lot less worrysome to put you im WMT.

gamesas has low liquidity and massive spreads usually (example . bid 7 cents, ask 7.5 cents)

If your patient and you put in limit orders for say .07, .06 .055, .05 you might pick up a few shares over time or you can just hit the ask price and grab a bunch. so while the stock does not trade a lot of volume you can get all you want IF your willing to pay the ask price.

usually companies do not want to mess w/ small fish but rather if doing a private transaction they will sometimes mess w/ accredited investors http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Accredited_investor

Austin I started, I picked up 20,000 IPLY the other day, exactly as you said, if you pay a bit more , you can accumulate it. So I will carry on in this way and may meet my target by 2012.

I am so excited, its fun been an investor in a company , but I have to get saving my cash as well. It Is costing a bit more than planned.

More later.

Now I am wondering do I keep buying and selling for small gains, or should I sit on what I have? I am happy with what i have paid for it, so am not really in a hurry to cash in now. I want to be sitting tight with my stock , before there is a major hike in price next year. I think I will keep buying and hope for the best after 12 months.
