Can you buy lockpicks somewhere?

Take a look around outside the Imperial City. There's an npc who stands out there against the wall. He has items for sale you might not find in the legal shops.....

Individuals in certain circles have them too, but you don′t travel in those circles do you? :tongue:

My char in is not in the thieves guild no. But lockpicks can be helpfull anyways.

The Thieves Den DLC also has vendors with lockpicks, and a few trainers for some of the stealth skills. You will need to have enough gold to pay for upgrades and vendors.

Talaran is referring to a man standing inside the shadows of the battlements next to the stable, outside the IC. Detect Life is useful here.

The Dark Brotherhood also sells lockpicks.
If you are able to bring up the Console (PC only, I think) you can use player.additem A,15
to give yourself 15 picks (or any number instead of 15)
