I am trying to craft some armor that requires Quicksilver ingots. I have checked most of the blacksmiths and have yet to come across any ingots or ore for sale. Is it just dumb luck that I haven't seen any yet, or is this only available by mining it myself. I prefer to buy it as I'm not too into farming ore. If it a random occurence, I guess I will just keep using the wait feature hoping they will eventually have some for sale. Maybe there are only certain blacksmiths that sell it? I have checked Whiterun, Riverwood, Markarth, and Riften. OK, maybe that's not most. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Don't forget the regular traders in towns, they have ore/ingots under Misc.

Just read on UESP that I need to be level 18 before they appear for sale. I am 16 at the moment. I guess I should have checked there first. Moderators, please delete this thread. Thanks

It says by the link that traders don't sell it. Didn't realize that.

I followed the link you posted, and you're right that traders don't sell the ore, but they do sell the ingots. I just need 2 more levels and I should start to see it for sale. Thanks for the help!
