Buying On PC Vs. Xbox 360

Post » Fri Aug 26, 2011 9:18 pm

I have the option of either A.) buying FNV on Steam or B.) buying it on Xbox 360. For one thing, I know I'd have to buy the Courier's Stash and Gun Runner's Arsenal add-on's to complete the Xbox 360 Version (I'm going to buy all the DLC's either way), but are Courier's Stash/Gun Runner's Arsenal integrated into the PC version?

Thanks.

I'm Fairly sure they will be intergated into PC. (But from what I heard Steam has been svcking lately. Starting with OWBs Courrpted files to server problems.

The CS and GRA, as far as I know, are DLC's you have to buy separately regardless of platform, so no, they are not integrated into the PC version by default. If that's what you meant by it.

Anyways... I recommend the PC version. As always.

I guess it would depend on how good your pc is.

I think my PC would have no problems running it. Quad-core, 2.8 GHz processor, decent video card by 2010 standards, 750GB hard drive.

I'd say PC. At least if you have any problems with bugs, or if you get bored with the same old stuff, you can mod stuff into the game.

You can always wait for the GotY version wich I am guessing would have NV and ALL the DLC and Pre DLC included in it.

Bascially is do you care for Mods? Do you really care for graphics? Do you mind Steam? From what I have read, some people have problems with Steam while most don't, but still you never know when you will get the "please try again, servers are busy" and you can't play your game then. If so, then get it on PC.

I love my 360, so I don't care that I get the awsome graphics or mods. BUT, when I fianlly installed Fallout 3 on my laptop, my mouth did hit the floor when I saw how beautiful it looked. So I am guessing NV is just as beautiful as well.

I have a few other reasons why I get games on the 360 instead of PC namely I don't let my son on my laptop all the time and he can play in his room when he likes. I prefer the controls of the 360 as well. Yes I know you can program the controls for PC like the 360, but it's never exactly the same, so that is why I prefer the 360.
