Ever since the first time I played Oblivion I have always had to put up with this electronic sounding ringing, buzzing, static-y noise. I it fluctuates with the sounds of the game, and makes character voices sound kind of electronic. Even after I had Oblivion uninstalled from my computer for a while, when I reinstalled it It still had the same issue. I use mods, but this has been going on long before any mods were loaded onto this computer.

I play Fallout 3 and I have no sound issues whatsoever, so I think this may be more of a software issue. I have tried it with and without headphones and more than one certain set of speakers so that is all ruled out. This is the only game it does this with.

I can still play the game, but it detracts from the experience and it would be nice to fix it.

If anyone has encountered this before and/or knows how to fix it please let me know.
