i loved fallout games since the begining, and their limited liniarity (meaning if you wanted to finish the game, the player must have passed some quests)
i would've hoped that by now, the developers of this title would understand the necesity to keep it as openminded for everything.
(i'm seeing hints on how to make a 100 skill points for every skill in various ways by taking a lvl1 character to certain places. no killing, no quest to complete first)
so why did they preset just a handfull of choises. i agree for the great factions having separate endings, but give us some space to develop other things than a character.
maybe some of us want not just a max lvl character, that pwns every monster out there, but would like to explore the post nuclear world and the interactions of the inhabitants. It's like karma. If a sneaking character steals nobody knows, and should be no loss in karma. If The character maker an agreement in a secret chamber with a robot, and nobody else knows, why would it reduce the status with another faction.
these limitations could be unlocked with addons, not just creating new environments/characters/weapons.
this would increase replayabillity of the game.
house woud be my only choise for the future of mankind. ar some ghoul that interacts with Yes man, and sets his way. This ghoul would require an intelligent and resourcefull person (being albe to reach yes man), and would live a very long time to be able to put in place the puzzle of the empire
