I wonder if it is possible to become either Caesar or the NCR President. It could work if you were doing the quests in that faction and got to a point where you realize that either the Caesar or the President that you were working for was dirty. You could present the info to the officers of that faction then take action, making you their new leader. I hope they implemented this!

Well, I think they said to an extent of the game, you can, but at a certian point, you're just [censored] and stuck with that faction you worked for.

Over the course of actual gameplay, I don't think it'd make much sense to become president/Ceasar. Though, perhaps if they implement it well, it'd be okay.

I imagine that the end cutscene will mention how the Courier became Ceasar or whatever after a few years, or something like that.

That'd be sick. I want my own personal Vertibird.

I can see you becoming Caesar, but not president because the NCR is a vast democracy, not some random army of thugs.

edit: also from some the previews The NCR's lower ranks seem more along the line of thugs as they go around "taxing" every thing possible..
