i will never use a grenade launcher in that game, but if i ever use the Vector at close range, run away buddy, i will every so often use 1887s i have picked up from corpses though.

I don't even understand the noobtube in this game. It completely svcks, IMO. It's not even 1-hit every time, and the direct impact hit detection is possibly the worst I have ever seen. I know I could use Danger Close, but that's not going to happen. I use Hardline, and then Cold Blooded when I unlock it.

I disagree, the noobtube is called the noobtube for a reason: It's easy kills are for noobs (of course as we all know anything that is good at it's job is 'nooby')

What should I change?

Use the SCAR,it's exactly the same as the TAR damage wise(1 shot kill anywhere when not shooting through surfaces) and more accurate,even if it has lower rate of fire you're only shooting 1-2 bullets to kill anyways.

also,drop Scavenger for something useful,if you run out of ammo in Hard Core it isn't a big deal since all weapons kill very fast,and you aren't going to be ammo-less very often anyways because of the 1 shot kills with the SCAR.

I figured out a silenced Tar is perfectly fine without stopping power. I picked it up in ffa and used it more than my silenced uzi.

I only used a fifth of the clip to kill someone. :shrug: That's a good 10 kills right there.

At range the inaccuracy makes it nearly impossible to land all the bullets,though.

Maybe since I was playing on highrise. And I usually just stick to the buildings on that map.

Felt like I needed to see a different change of scenery so I popped in COD4.
Grenades were so easy to use on that game!

I love COD4... if only my disc didn't sustain a huge amount of scratches over the few years I've had it. Speaking of which, I might go to Gamestop later and get a new copy....

that weapon is only good for medium or close range, its the SCAR for close range, considering it has a higher refire rate.

Got my second nuke in a Free for All only one more Nuke till i get the Global Thermonuclear War title (when I got my first Nuke that challenge was not unlocked).

I went back to World at War yesterday, and man was it fun. I forgot how fun it was using iron sights bolt actions. If there were a way to take off the scope in MW2, I would be using an iron sights intervention every game.

use the ACOG.

scopeless bolt action rifles were the best thing ever,though.

I have a terrible connection, but I can at least play the game. It just seems like tons of times I can remember shooting at someone with the grenade launcher at point blank range, and it somehow just not registering. :shrug:

AH curses my ps3 has gone wacky, guess I'll have to play runescape while waiting for my ps3 to work again. I expect the first heavy rain dlc free when this gets back on . I want to play some MW2.
I was thinking today what was the oddest class you had a great game on.
Mine was here was the set up

Primary -uzi+ACOG
Secondary -M1014shotgun
equipment-Claymore and smoke
perk 1-scavenger pro
forgot 2nd and 3rd perks
Went 25 and 10 with it and won a free for all at scrapyard.

Same here, sniping with scopes, it can be a difficult tasks but is a hell of fun.
It also makes me lol that 7 is the maximum killstreak :lol:

I think it needs fifteen feet of travel before it arms.

Right at the end of my second prestige I got my max killstreak up to 41 with a predator/harrier/AC-130. I got plenty of those myself without the killstreak, and I was happy. Finished the round with a throwing knife kill.

any tips on using the riot shield? I need a short change and havent really used the shlied much.

I say try going hardcoe since it only takes one hit to kill someone. Maybe try camping in a dark corner and wait for someone to pass by. Then move in for the kill.

The WA2000 with a ACOG feels like the FAK and I love it. Its po satisfying to spray down people with it.

M21 is better.

Less sway and more spray.
