The WA2000 is by far the worst sniper, IMO. It has absolutely ridiculous knockback, and it's not even 1-hit. I use the Intervention.

It is not effected by stopping power unless it has a silencer. Without a silencer, it its a one hit kill from the lower chest up. With a silencer + SP, it does the same. So unless you are shoting people in the legs and arms, it should always be a one shot kill. I love the gun, nearly have 2500 kills with it.

The M9 is amazing. I've been using it the past couple of days and I've been kicking ass with it. In a lot of games I've got more kills with it than with my primary weapon. :P I'm looking forward to getting the tactical knife for it (about 20 kills away from it), that'll be handy. I don't really like akimbo with it though, I'm much more deadly with it when I can aim down the sights.

The 50. cal, even though sorely underpowered, is the best sniper in the game.

The M21 is pretty weak... from a distance, it takes a couple of rounds even to the head.

I play hardcoe. One shot kill for me.

And has extremely unrealistic kickback.

Ehhh, more like "It has extremely unrealistic everything". I don't care much though, I like hurting people up close and personal :)

Anyone else love the UMP? It destroys at short range, even without SP. At long range, as long as you have some self control and fire in bursts, it is just as deadly as an assault rifle, if not more! I played with it for only an hour, and I already have over 150 kills with it. Great gun

The kick comes from you holding the rifle, even when you are prone you hold the gun its not set up like a legit sniper would.

I'm all about the UMP with a silencer. With that, you don't even need to burst fire at long range. Just open up and they die.

Vector is my least favorite.

I think the WA2000 may be partially broken.

My set up:

WA2000 - ACOG + FMJ
AA-12
Bling
Stopping power
Commando

I am shooting at people, center mass, and its not registering hits. It takes a whole clip to put people down. Anyone have this happen?

If you aren't using a silencer with the WA2000 there's no point using stopping power.

It helps because I am trying to get penetration kills and stopping power affects the amount of damage (non-silencer) when shooting through objects.

I really hate how this game throws me into matches that are almost over. And always on the loosing team.

I know I'm beating a dead horse here by bringing this up again, but I must have terrible luck with snipers or something. Occasionally, I'll get a 1-hit with the WA2000, but I can remember getting a 1-shot on the M21 ever. All these people saying "every sniper should be a 1-hit if you aim right"...what the hell are you doing that is so much better? The only guns I find dependable for 1-hits are the Intervention and .50 cal.

I use Stopping Power, and not normally a silencer, and for all the times I can remember, they were usually chest-shots.

I think the Mk. 14 doesn't have the damage multiplier on chest shots, only headshots. But you have little recoil on it, so I think they figured on people just taking two.

Im the same way. If I use the WA200 or the M21 its always a double tap of the trigger.

I found that the transition from the .50 cal to the WA2000 can be a bit easy. The problem with the Barret is that it trains you to be lazy. You don't really need to aim for the upper torso, any part of the body will do. If you use the WA2000 enough, you will slowly train yourself to only aim for the head/chest.

Is it just me, or do people get pissed when you take your own crates when they're trying to? I got consecutive hate mail today after earning an emergency air drop and taking the crates. Some guy followed me for the rest of the match shooting me, stupid bastard didn't realise friendly fire wasn't enabled. He seemed to think that the crate (a directional air strike) was his. In general I'm ok with my team taking my crates to save them from the enemy, but we were on the other side of the map from any action so I took it while he was trying to get it.

He was probably shooting you to give away your location. Though it's still stupid because he'd just get killed when you do.

People get pissed when you take their emergency airdrops, but if you don't let them do it to yours, you're an ass. It's just a whole cycle of stupidity.
