So for those unaware, on COD Black Ops you can create your own emblem on your tag. Its displayed when you kill somebody or take down aircraft and a couple other scenarios. My gripe about this is that a bunch of people use it to draw really obscene things, and thats coming from a member of the bdsn community.

Ive seen some really horrible stuff on emblems:
Zombies eating womens briasts.
A mans unit inside a womans bleeding orifice.
A man fornicating with a horse.
A giant anus taking a number 2.

Off the top of my head, and NO those were not the worst ones Ive seen.

Now, Im not a big conservative guy or anything, but I dont really log onto call of duty to look at that, and its really disgusting when my mother, or younger family members are in the room. Those depictions dont even have anything to do with the game at all.

Now if your somebody that does do this, WHY?

I do take the time to report those emblems, and it does result in a 30day ban of the feature for those people who that.

Yeah, I always report the ones like that. Especially when people think their cool for making a Nazi flag as their emblem, it just rattles my cage.

And it's a shame, because some people can make some really cool things with it.

In all seriousness, that game is so fundamentally flawed, boring, and repetitive that if the only joy people can gain from it is putting images of quite immature and inappropriate actions on there emblem, let them.

They already wasted $60 dollars on it, so let them have there "Fun".

Who honestly cares? The emblems are tiny in the first place when you aren't hovering over the gamertag. Play the game and move on.

If that's their opinion of the game, why did they buy it in the fist place? I sincerely hope they didn't buy it just to make pictures like that their emblems.

I don't really care what people put as their emblems. If they want to be stupid and immature, more power to them. I don't really play BO anyways

I more care about the intricacy and originality of the emblem. Crap like what you listed would just bore me. Just an immature kid I don't care to play with. Nothing I take the trouble to report someone over.

Mine's just a fist holding a beer in the air. Simple, yet sends a great message we all like.

Next rant:
Crappy rap music through the mic. Yeah I can mute em, but my question is why is it always terrible rap? Its never Tupac or Wu Tang or anything, its always something that sounds like some highschool dropout thug rappin on a four-track in his basemant. I like rap music, I just dont like terrible rap music coming through your $5 headset.


BTW My emblem:

Its a white Zero in the backgound with blue tent across the middle. On the side of the tent it says "D" then a fence symbol (football style). Then it has an M60 across the top of the tent, with a souldier firing a Strela-3 outside.

Mine: Black background, silver AK47 crossed with a silver machete, with a red hand on top. Looks like a flag used by a Somalian pirate clan or something.

Again in all seriousness, just mute them. Remember, your playing Black Ops so the majority of players are between the ages of five and thirteen, all of whom have never heard of "Two Pack" and "Woo Ang".

Yup. But the people that abuse these kinds of features is why I'm not really sure if they should be in games.

I'm almost tempted to say that the Black Ops community with their immature and offensive emblems is worse than Valve's community with their sprays. :facepalm:

i honestly dont care what someones emblem is. It doesnt effect my ability to live nor do i get pissed off or offended. Ive often wondered why there are swastikas in nazi zombies but i cant have one as an emblem. eh what do i know.

I don't really pay attention to the immature ones, but the racist ones set me off, and I do report those.
I still can't figure out what Treyarch expected to happen when they had a pickle and two cherries as some of the components that could be used.

Anyways, my emblem used to be a "Dat ass" face with DOSH along the bottom of the frame, with a wrestler standing on the D. I've since changed it to a Serious Bomb.

My symbol is the BoS symbol.

Most of the time I dont even bother with the real corny ones. Its the racist ones that bother me. Like the Nazi emblem and the tree with people hanging from them and the white pointed hoods standing next to it. Then there is one that I can not understand what would make some kid think 9-11 is cool a emblem with the 2 towers on fire with an airplane flying into it.......I immmediately report that one.


My emblem is the greatful dead.

The ones that grind my gears (racism, immature etc) I would report.

My emblem is similar to Task Force 141 and Rangers from MW2 except I call it TFXVI (Task Force XVI).

I like the creative emblems, they make me laugh.

I report alota emblems, like a guy who was shooting a dog, or a guy shooting another guy. Its offensive, like the male private part. Actually I report just about every emblem, if its not funny or WoWing its offensive. I hope they can't filter gamer tags. 20 seconds in a lobby is enough time to report 15 peoples emblems.
