I really don't like the Bulpdaun because the magazin goes behind the trigger. I really don't like that. It seems like it would be awkward in every situation.

It's called "Bullpup", when the magazine and the firing pin is behind the trigger. The barrel is then pushed back, so you can make the barrel longer for more accuracy while keeping the gun the same size.

Inversely, you can make the gun smaller and eaiser to handle, while keep the barrel the same size.

I think you mean 'conversely', a good example is the P90

I'll make sure it gets some, and that it gives the opposite. :)

I've always though the Galactic SMG looked the best. Seeing as the SMGs all have similar stats, I'll run with the Galactic, silenced, with the gun sling.

Same since I always liked the UMP. Unless one suits me better after trial and error.

I'm down with Galactic (UMP-45) and Carb-9 all the way. Tampa might make a good secondary weapon for a mediums.

I'm going to use the Tampa and the Galactic. I'm using the Tampa for my Operative and the Galactic for my Soldier. They both look good. The Tampa is going to have extended mags, a silencer, and maybe a sight. The Galactic is going to have drum mags, a red dot sight, and a muzzle brake.

I just looked over the videos again, and the galactic's recoil put it at a serious disadvantage against say, the kross.

The Galactic since it has the UMP40 look. Was my favorite amongst the Sub-machine gun category.

I'm gonna be using the Bulpdaun, with a red dot sight, and foregrip. But I do like the look of the Tampa, I'll probably use the Tampa later on.

Ah, that's why they do it. Still, reloading would be a [censored] as you'd be pushing the back end up. You'd have to keep it firmly shoved into your shoulder to make the magazine go in. Also, I can't imagine hipfiring would work very well, as the back of the weapon would want to drop, causing the barrel to rise. I can't see it working unless you put your off hand behind the magazine or on top of the barrel.

i voted
1. tampa
2. tampa
3. galactic
since the galactic looks to be based off the UMP it will probably be the most OP. in most games it is the most OP.
i like the tampa though because it's based off of the TMP, which i've loved that gun since my time playing CS :) it's not a huge smg, but it looks so AWESOME!
carb-9 looks pretty kool too, i wish they had a gun based off the MP5 like the OP said, but oh well :S

I can't answer number 3. There's no better and worse, only for different preferences.

Pretty much my exact sentiments.

I voted Kross, Kross, and Kross though. Just because the Vector is awesome. Carb-9 comes in at a close second, with the Tampa a close third right behind it.

I'm sticking with my CARB-9 :D

But for my security class I think I'm going with the Tampa. :sb:

I like the Galactic, looks-wise and from what I've heard of its stats so far (basically, high-capacity is my main consideration).

But I won't vote in the poll because I think each weapon will have its uses for different playstyles, meaning none will be "better" in any direct sense - in the right hands, each has advantages and disadvantages - the best SMG for me to use may not work as well as another in your hands.

I think the Carb-9 looks the best, but I suspect it will be very average. ^_^

Edit: At least compared to the Galactic, which I expect to be more accurate and more damaging, but with a lower rate of fire and possibly smaller magazine.

From what i have seen the Vector is the most accurate (like ACR accurate) followed by the TMP and then the UMP45

The Vector and UMP have almost no recoil (and the little recoil they have goes in a circle). The MP9 becomes quite inaccurate when fired full-auto from the hip, so I guess it has a good recoil, too.
