Calling it a Day

Post » Tue Jan 14, 2014 2:13 pm

Between 9-10 pm I call it quits.

Need dinner.

Have to get up at 5 am for work.

I know, it svcks! :)

But weekends, I can play 12 hr straight, since the wife is working already. And if I annoy her somehow, she tells me: Go play your game! Golden. :)

Even if you do save every, say 15, minutes, you'll still want to save progress when you finish.

I play early in the morning and in the evening. I call it a day when it's time to go work and/or when I'm tired. My only ritual would be making sure my character is in a safe, and possibly warm, place before saving and quitting.

I can't stop. I wait for my wife irl to start throwing shoes at me before I do.

I always play until I have to stop (which is usually because I need to sleep), then I save and quit in the morning/evening where I can easily continue things and play a new day the next time I start the game. Once I start playing it's hard getting me to stop in the middle.

It doesn't sound too bad, after all she's just wanting to spend time with her spouse. (:

Tell her she can buy a pair of new shoes, that will keep her content for a a few days?

And buy yourself a helmet!

And fire of that scroll "Ring of Protection!"
