Calm like a Bomb

Post » Sun Jul 18, 2010 9:31 am

Howdy forum people! I'm back again with another story in the Fallout fashion. Took me a while to come up with another interesting and unique idea but I've done it (allegedly). Please give me some feedback and I'll keep slaving at the keyboard. Enjoy!
----------

Part One

Calm like a bomb?
What the hell am I on?
It's got to be a plane
Am I talking? Going insane?
The question of a megaton's sanity is rather meaningless
So is talking in prose
Aw hell no?
My grammar, let alone sentence structure?
Wack
I'm finally being used
Perhaps my meaning of life is a bit misconstrued
Explosions are great,
Sure as ever
But when did killing everyone come as being clever?
No sense?just as I figured
When did the world decide to pull the trigger?
Was it a conjoined effort?
Probably so
Nuclear Apocalypse?so clich? and old
Got to pull up the sleeves
Bend at the knees
And kiss your [censored] goodbye
But what's the time?
The place
The minute
Catastrophic repercussions
Why am I talking in English?
Why not Chinese or Russian?
Get ready world
I know your yearning
I'll take but a couple of minutes
Then you can go and get Ron Perlman

Wow, very nice, very nice! I loved it, it flows quite well and deserves credit. Write more for us, and we'll keep feeding your ego! If you want us to do that? :P

Thanks for the comment Francis. Having some good ol' hip-hop playing in the backround surely inspires me at this point. But with another post comes another section. Comment on what you will and do enjoy!
----------

Part Two

You're still here?
Just what I feared
I'm going to have to continue spinning those rhyming gears
Didn't know that existed in a bomb?
You think that's strange? What's wrong?
Really now?I'm like a bomb
Can you believe I have a pretty women painted on me?
That'll surely compensate for the foreseen tragedies
Mind's in a rush
Too much, too much
Are those vaults down there ready for such?
To what greater good must thy conceive thee?
I'll surely bring domestic tranquility
What sort of civilization will come after me?
One that supports arithmetic, reading, and writing?
Eh?not too exciting
I can only imagine survival and fighting
Would that make a good game?
Are you insane?!
The horrors that will show
Guns, blood, and perhaps even hoes
But wait, can the soil be tilled?
With the crater I'll make
There's no chance of it being filled

Having a good ol' time typing this thing up. Here's the part three to the 'story'. I'd really like some feedback. I'll take to heart any criticism or support and utilize it for later sections. Enjoy!
----------

Part Three

It's been a while now
Well lookie here, I see something beyond the clouds
Truth be told that that has to be a city
Ready to be incinerated within a mile's vicinity
Do they know that their time will come?
All the innocents, women, and children
Why for a second here I wish for this to be undone
All this violence, bombs, and guns
How could this be any fun?
They shootin'
Aw made you look
I think I stole a page from Nas' rhyme book
But give me a minute
Does Nas even exist?
2002...2077
These alternate universes can make one scream towards the heavens
But alas, I'm just a device of explosive and radiative ballistics
I'd rather master the art of linguistics
Buzz Buzz
What a bunch of dribble
Might as well do what I do best and make the ground ripple

I'd really like some comments before I go any further. The RP's are probably getting more attention but I'll kindly ask. I'll finish regardless but I still find it reassuring when you know people are reading and perhaps even caring enough to leave a comment.

Dude, I've got you pegged as probably the funniest, zaniest, wackies writter in the forum. Every post is another exploritory charge into a new depth of humor never read before.

Ok, I'm done with the poetic praises, but seriously, I laugh my ass off each story.

The final section of 'Calm like a Bomb' is finished! Please, please, please give me feedback and comments and stuff. Do enjoy!
----------

Part Four

The time is getting closer
Breaking through the atmosphere
Imminent doom is inevitable
Bah!
My rhyming generator is malfunctioning!
What could this possibly mean?
Don't tell me as a reader you wouldn't intervene
This story is pretty good you know what I mean?
Don't tell me as a reader you wouldn't intervene
Dang it!
Look, I'm about to crash into the ground
Human existence itself will impound
I cannot promise much of anything right now but I'll definitely promise deformed cows
Did you see that?
I cannot even seperate my lines straight!
That didn't rhyme? Is that what somebody said?
Who cares...in a second you'll be dead
See, I rhymed there
HaHaHa
Now like the Frenchies I'll bid you au revior

Thanks Tair, I appreciate the support. I'm still open to more comments and criticism. Won't be a while until I post my next story. Might as well leave this up and see what happens.
