I emailed Bethesda and they said I should try here a community board to help. I can not get into Cambridge Police Station. Only started about a week ago. Had already played 30 hours. All of a sudden everytime I enter the station it loads but it is black and I hear banging and clanking then it loads the screen and I am under the map. Doesn't matter if I fast travel there. If I go to College Square or if I walk all the way there from anywhere. Any suggestions?

Dunno why the problem but did you get the quest to go there (think it's from over a radio transmission)?

When I turned up there was something going on and only after it was over could I enter the building.

Digital copy from xbox one's store. It is the clearing and collecting missions for the scribe and the knight. Had been there 40 times prior to this problem. Did a crap load of side quests then poof I couldn't enter anymore.

have you tried clearing cache? fixes so many issues with so many games

hold the power button down on the xbox itself until it switches off then try it

well its a graphical issue of some kind. See if there is a way to repair your game, as it's likely just a corrupt file.

You may have already tried this, but I will suggest anyway. Try entering from another door, such as the door from the motor pool by the power armor station.

Have tried resetting. Haven't tried an alternative door.It is definitely graphical. But all of my saves do that...even the ones prior.

Let me know if the alternate d?oor works, but if it does not uninstalling the game after backing up your saves, then download it again. I am also on the Xbox One, but thankfully have not had any probems as severe as this (and hopefully I will not as I already went through glitch hell with an TES IV: OBLIVION and Fallout: New Vegas). It is unfortunate that you have. No one should have to deal with these problems, but I suppose that is the price we pay.

Addendum: According to the wikia this bug affects all platforms, and occurs after completing several of the quests. It may get fixed eventually.
