Cambridge Polymer Labs - a different bug or missing somethi?

Post » Thu Mar 03, 2016 2:39 pm

This is not the usual bug I found when I googled, where the quest gets marked as failed.

My quest isn't completed nor failed. It's up there among my non-completed / unstarted quests.

I have the Peizowhatever armor.

I succeeded the optional part to find another way out of the labs.

Everybody inside is dead.

Now what?

Did you locate all the potential ingrediants? Mine wouldnt complete without them. Of course they are stuck in my inventory.

I think it`s a bug. I collected all possible ingredients and still got almost the same problem. I created the Peizowhatever armor and finished the quest by going and "speaking to the director" . But in my game the quest is marked as completed, just the research objective is failed.

I just did this tonight!
Amazing quest and location. Yeah I got the Piezo-chestpiece - I got T-51 - is it always that one?
Just finished upgrading it and painting it Railroad black. Beautiful.

It said I found an optional way out, but it beats me.
I went out the front door (same way I came in).
But I explored upstairs first, after scoring the keys to the Director's office...
There's a lot of stuff upstairs in the office building - did you do all that, and retire the Director?

The quest was never ticked-off (ie. said completed) for me. Just the Optional part, as mentioned...
But the whole thing moved down into the completed section just fine.
And I take it you found the credentials P.A.M. at the Railroad originally sent you there to find?
I got so excited with the Star chestpiece LoL, I almost forgot about that part. :)

They are in your Misc section, and are weightless...
So no big deal.

The first time I had gone there was when PAM sent me. After I found what PAM wanted, I explored the building and killed all the hostiles, including the Director and probably Molly became hostile so I probably killed her too since I can't find her anywhere, not even her (dead) metal parts. This was many many game hours ago.

Yesterday I was going through my uncompleted quests and found this ''Cambridge'' one.

I entered, got all the ingredients, completed the experiment and got the piece of Armor.

However my quest didn't progress. It didn't get marked as ''failed'' which is the common bug which happened to a lot of people.

And it didn't move down to the completed section.

I'm pretty sure molly has to escort you to the directors office, after that she pays you for completing the research and then lays you off as there is no more work to be done. That's when the quest completes for me anyway.

Then it appears that since I (think?) I killed Molly when I was in Cambridge for the Railroad quest, I've broken the Cambridge quest and it can never be completed now.

And quick question, should I be able to open this door? I can get in and out of Cambridge easily, but can't find what is this internal door:

Yes it's inside the lab buildings, but not in the room where you do the experiment.

You can see part of a broken door on the right.

I checked and can't find a terminal or any way to open it.

Except sorting through the MISC tab is a complete nightmare already. Still can't believe they haven't given us a KEY/PASSWORD tab so we can at least get those out of there.
