(slight spoiler of Dawnguard regarding an NPC you encounter follows)

While playing Dawnguard DLC, I was glad to see Jiub from Morrowind.

I haven't had much luck with conversations or meeting NPCs who give hints as to what has happened since Morrowind and Oblivion. I really want to learn about the fate of the characters from both games and events that took place after MW, OB's main quests.

Are there more of such NPCs like Jiub or conversations I could find regarding the topic?
