Camera distance

In OB i found my camera distance go to far behing my character everytime I did simple things like sitting down, mounting my horse and so on. I hope they have an option to set your own default destanse. Doea anyone else agree with me?

Absolutely agree, and I think its already been stated in GI that the third person camera is being re-designed for Skyrim. I played an awful lot of Oblivion in third person with the camera zoomed in close to create a kind of over-the-shoulder view and it really got on my nerves everytime I had to reset it after sitting, especially when getting off a horse and going immediately into combat.

To be honest I'd rather them spend time elsewhere. The game was made with first person in mind, Ive always seen 3rd person as more of a gimmick just to check out your characters armor and such. If they do spend time on it tho I hope they get rid of that running animation, it looked like you were running on the spot while the world moved past you.

I agree that the running animation was pretty bad and it didn't help that the character always looked like he was running around with a pickle up his...well you know where. But I disagree that the third person camera was ever intended just to be a gimmick. Some effects in 1st-person obviously looked better(like getting staggered or being blocked etc.) but I found the overall battles in 3rd-person when I had my camera zoomed in close to the body to be much more entertaining. And using the bow from 3rd person was a true skill in that game that I enjoyed honing.
