In the final mission after I defeat the Alpha Ceph in the final cut scene where Prophet is trying to help Psycho then gets svcked into space my game hard freezes I got the achievement for completing the mission but not the complete the single player achievement i know there is a cut scene in space but my game always freezes just before this. I tried redoing the boss fight numerous times but still it hard freezes at the exact same spot and in the exact same way. Also if I die during the boss fight my game freezes when I hold x to reload the checkpoint. So basically I cant complete the game because of this stupid bug. Does anyone have the same issue and does any one know of a solution to this? .. ( I have already installed the game into my HDD and my xbox is fairly new and game has no scratches so its not an issue with hardware or broken disc) I also found a comment on a youtube video where some guy had the same problem. FIX IT CRYTEK! I didn't pay 60 Euro for a broken game.

I had a similar crash problem with the last checkpoint during the Alpha Ceph fight. It would hard freeze on me over and over when resuming from that checkpoint after I died once. I was forced to restart the mission with mission select and finish it that way. Fortunately that fixed the problem and I was able to complete the last level without any problems with loading checkpoints(still died once or twice). There are only a few intels in the last stage which I got on the first run so basically when I restarted the level I just stormed through it like a mad man straight to the boss fight and beat the game. Hope this helps.
