Campaign For Leafy the Dragon (Bethesda show us that you car

...Leafy? What?

This must be some forum meme, but if I didn't know that, I'd be asking you what kind of drugs you're on. Seriously, I don't understand why this would be desirable. Forum memes are great fun for forumites, but I don't really want the epic atmosphere of my Elder Scrolls games being randomly polluted by poorly-veiled and unexplained internet jokes. In the same vein, I am not interested in meeting lolcat khajiits. I lol at lolcats, I love my Khajiits, but never the twain shall meet.

I don't want to say yes based soley on the fact that you want to prove something that may or may not be true. No, I'm going to go vote no just because I can. Let bethesda do their thing and be happy with the game when it comes out.

I'll be happy with it with or without leafy. I just can't wait!

Do you guys realize that the more of these stupid pleas and suggestions we come with, the less Bethesda will actually listen to us? If this forum is bogged down with pointless requests, they're just gonna stop looking.... And no, I don't want a leafy the dragon. They're better with easter eggs than that. :)

edit: Hm- weird. Googled "dragon leafy" and all I got was some kind of seahorse.

And just for the record: I'm not opposed to sharing ideas --- I just don't think we should make it harder for the devs to find the good ones. They'll of course put whatever they like into the game - maybe they like this dragon better than better fast travel options, for instance :P

There's nothing wrong with sharing ideas. The team is definitely looking at the threads and posts you're making -- but also keep in mind that they're also very focused on finishing the game.

Leafy almost sounds too cute for a dragon in Skyrim.

M'aiq once knew a dragon named Leafy, but sadly he blew away in the wind.

I want a leafy the dragon side quest, or maybe an unmarked one, maybe the pc finds a camp with a journal that talks of an epic fight a hero had with a foliage serpent :P

That right there is probably the main reason why they won't select Leafy as a name. It needs more of an Elder Scrolls/Conan name.

I would be happy with even a very small reference to leafy! maybe a dog who's name is leafy and his owner refers to him barking at a dragon?

They should randomly name a single shrub "Leafy." and keeping in with the new theme of non-linear queststuffs, its location would change every time you start a new game.
It may or may not be in outside

Damn, if I had made that thread, the dragon would've been called Loiosh, and all the devs would have been like "woah that's a cool name for a dragon" and I'd be like "lol yeah".
That way I would've snuck my favorite dragon-type character from modern fiction into the game. :(

Huh. Now that I think of it. I can simply create a mod that adds him to the game once the Creation Kit comes out. Maybe even in his original size.
Bethesda, show me that you care about me and make it possible to create dragons that are only 1 ft long! You know, like the Skyrim version of a pirate's parrot?

Tulio is an evil name, just look my warn status :toughninja:

No-one but you and the moderators can see that, I think. At least, I wouldn't know where. So relax. :) Although it does sound rather bad.

Best and most reasonable ideas for incorporating Leafy the Big Green Dragon:
1 - M'aiq reference
2 - Book or note reference (wurst troll evur)
3 - Shop or tavern or boat name
4 - A big green dragon named Leafy

Lol, i loved the troll under the bridge. I,d would also enjoy some kind of camp named after leafy, that would be cool. You have discovered leafy dragon camp.

What if it was a type of ale sold in one of the taverns? 'I'd like a tankard of leafy dragon!'

While I see no harm in including it as an easter egg, it would be obvious for all who've read this thread where it originated from and then we'd get a bunch of threads asking for specific things like this.

A reference to Vinegar Ra on the other hand...

It could be an easter egg, maybe on a mark door with a dragon and a leaf under him, or the leafy dragon inn :foodndrink:

Yes, the Leafy Dragon Inn. How awesome!

Librarian: "And here we have a statue of the only known Dragon-Rider, Jrornard the Sky Cleaver, and his mount Liefe. Together, they slew more than fifty of the ancient dragons which tormented this land... and drove them out of Tamriel forever! Alas, the battle was too much... and their wounds too great. Despite the best healers in all of Tamriel doing their best, it was not enough. The pair perished, and were laid to rest right here where this library was eventually constructed."

Children: "Leafy! Leafy! Leafy! Leafy!"

Librarian: "And, moving along we have a fine display of..."
