Why couldn't u cook on a stove what u could a firepit, gets annoying dragging 200lbs of random food and stuff to a pit for 2 mins of cooking

Obviously all the gas lines have dried up. Although I think it would be cool if you were to have a player house that you would have to gather wood and such. Just so you could light your stove.
