I'm looking for a good camping mod.

I tried 'adventurers equipment' but when I enabled it OB couldn't even load.

This one needs OBSE. The description says you also need OBMM, but it is easy to install manually or with Wrye Bash. You can just drop the archive into your installers folder. It is Bain ready.

I second this recommendation. I guess I've used most of the camping mods over the years. Turija told me about this a few months ago and it's now my favorite. Not only does it offer three different styles of tents (with the larger styles costing more money and weighing more), but each style also comes in a color that represents the color of the city you bought the camping gear in. I think that's a really neat little touch. And if you set your tent up at night the mod will automatically set up a campfire in front of the tent as well.

It is also very easy to install manually. Only two files: drag-and-drop.

I third this mod. Look no further.
