Camping with the bow...

... has to go!!!!

this is getting crazy. every game 2-3 people sitting in a tree/bush just using the bow and sitting there until they are noticed. The shooting in stealth has to go!!!! C2 was epic because of the inability to sit and stealth camp while shooting. Some adjustments have to be made. I hate campers either on my team or opposition, hate them equally!

They payed their $60 just like you. They can play how they want to. FWIW, I hate campers, as well. On the other hand, if they want to sit in a bush the whole game and go 6-2, who really cares?

/\/\ true.

they can play how they want but maybe because I cant understand sitting in a bush for 7-10minutes and only getting a few kills would be fun to anyone. You get crysis for the speed, the suit abilities and action. camping seems like such a waste. not saying they can't play how they want but seems very very uneventful and boring and I just can't imagine what fun that is. maybe its just me.

It's not just you. I think they're idiots, as well. Playing like that would put me to sleep.

/\/\ exactly. I kid you not. I sat behind a camper with a bow to just watch. after a minute I was bored out of my mind. I ended up killing him. he ended up 4-6 or something like that. Why sit the whole game for those #'s. As i mentioned yesterday i rather go 0-10 in firefights than 10-0 while camping.

I think that had more to do with how slow stealth drains. This is no more a problem than snipers.

Actually its a much biggger, Much Bigger Problem than snipers. Snipers CANNOT shoot from cloak, and thus can be easily spotted with aware teammates. You cant see the cloak in this game, 2 inches from the enemy, so fawk trying to see a cloaked camping bow hoe from 200 yards away, raining down 1 hit kills, and tagging multiple enemies at once. The hit box on the Bow is absolutely tragically broken. You can hit running players jumping and everything with homing bow headshots, while the sniper can miss on a still targets point blank. This game gets more broken to me everyday. Don't get me started on Typhoons. I will lose my **** one of these days, Im on the bring of meltdown.

I use the bow and melee only and I don't camp with the bow lol.. if you hate it so much just snap their necks and get it over with. They will stop camping if you snap their necks a few times.

lol Yeah, because killing a camper and expecting him to stop works so well in every other game.

But seriously, I do agree with the people who said campers paid their money and they can play however they want to play. On the other hand, the game shouldn't be encouraging it, and that's what it's doing. I don't believe it is necessarily the fault of the bow, either. The stealth being nerfed hard from Crysis 2, with no modules to accommodate that pop in pop out playstyle coupled with the larger maps really pushes more people toward camping. What really gets me about the whole thing is that it basically locks down the maps. Crysis 2 had hot spots, yes, but generally speaking, players were all over the map. In Crysis 3, I generally only encounter the enemy (TDM) in structures around the outsides of the map, because campers have the rest of the map locked down. That wouldn't be a problem at all if you could sprint in cloak for more than 7 seconds. In Crysis 2, I had a lot of options for how I wanted to play the game, but in Crysis 3 it's like we're being pushed toward a more Call of Duty style of play.

I'm playing the "pop in, pop out" style you suggest, and having no problems. I might run out of cloak energy here and there, but nothing major. That being said, bow campers do svck.
