In the past Fallout games I liked that you could zoom the camera out. I'm just able to play better when I can see my whole character as opposed to him being right up at the camera and you see only waist up... Did they remove this ability to zoom out?

I know that on XBO at least, you jut hold down the menu button (the button that takes you to 3rd person) and move the right stick back and forth to zoom in and out. I would imagine its the same in PS4 and PC.Happy travels!

This worked for me at first, but now it brings up the Workshop before I can finish the zoom. Am I doing it wrong? Seems like once I was able to open the workshop, I can no longer get the zoom to work.

Figured it out. Do it with a weapon drawn, and the workshop won't open and the camera zooms just fine.

I don't have it fugue out after all.... there must be some sort of contextual use of the toggle button on the Xbox one controller that I do not understand. Some times the workshop menu comes up and some times I can zoom whether weapon is drawn or not....
