Can't access my Default Gateway site

Post » Tue Apr 20, 2010 12:30 am

Yesterday I had a couple ports that I was needing to forward for a program, so I did. After I saved the changes, I got a message from my browser (firefox) that the server was taking too long to respond. Today, I try to access the site again, but I'm getting the same error. Is there any reason for this?

Also, by the Default Gateway, I mean the IP address you use to visit your router config. site.

EDIT: I simply had to restart my router. No biggie. A mod can close this now.

When you cannot access the router and you are positive you have the correct IP then you need to reboot it. Also don't call it a default gateway as that can be a hub, switch or bridge depending on the network composition.
