Things you can try:
1. Checking for any updated versions of iTunes
2. just give it time, maybe they got a lot of valentines day traffic
3. flush your DNS (in the command line type "ipconfig /flushdns" Without quotes, obviously
4. temporarily disable your firewall if you have one.
