I like :
Oblivion, Fallout 3 + Vegas, GTA SA and IV, Mount and Blade (zamg I love M&B), AC:B. I have played many more but cant remember all the names...

So are there any good Open world/RPG's you guys can recommend to me? Thanks!

The STALKER series has some open world-ness to it, and some RPG elements (side quests, finding/selling/buying equipment).

Golf games seem pretty "open". If you're lucky you might find a good mod to go postal on your caddy!

This. Play stalker or an intermittent Psi-field will turn your brain to mush, make you pick up a gun, and turn you into a gun-toting zombie.

BioWare has many great RPGs:

  • The already mentioned http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wars:_Knights_of_the_Old_Republic.

  • Also already mentioned http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jade_Empire.

  • http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mass_Effect. Although that might technically fall into the FPS RPG category it's truly a great story-driven RPG with lots of micro-management and customisation. Also there's quite a lot of exploration and random things and side-quests you can stumble upon while exploring.

  • http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dragon_Age:_Origins and its expansion http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dragon_Age:_Origins_%E2%80%93_Awakening.

Also a great RPG which wasn't made by BioWare but uses BioWare's engine is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Witcher_(video_game).

Though I haven't played it myself, I've heard good things about the Saints Row series. Might give that a try.

Start the Mass Effect series!

Do you have an X-Box? If you do maybe you could wait a little and get LA Noire.

Or the amazing so bad it's good game Deadly Premonition. Dont trust me? It's so amazing http://www.destructoid.com/review-deadly-premonition-165168.phtml and it even http://www.destructoid.com/deadly-premonition-tops-us-sales-chart--170150.phtml

Wizardry 8

If you happen to have a psp and like tactical RPG's you could also try Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together.
